“I feel so blessed that God led me to DC InterVarsity! Through Bible studies, game nights, and walks around the city, I have grown closer to God and made lifelong friends in the process. I am so grateful for the support of this group during the stress of grad school!”

Anna Christensen, George Washington University, M.A. American Studies, 2022

Campus Fellowships

Student and faculty groups meet together regularly for community, fellowship, Bible study and prayer. During this season many of our groups are meeting on-line to gather across campuses.

Area and National Events

Students from throughout the D.C. area gather together regularly for fellowship, community-building, networking, and support. See our calendar of events here. We also participate in regional and national events.

Black Scholars and Professionals

The vision of Black Scholars and Professionals (BSAP) is to see graduate students, professional students, and faculty of African or African American descent transformed by Christ, renewed in their academic pursuits or professional lives, and serving as agents of change within the African American and African community, the church, and the world.

Emerging Scholars Network

The Emerging Scholars Network (ESN) is a national network within InterVarsity’s Graduate & Faculty Ministries which supports those on the academic pathway as they work out how their academic vocation serves God and others. We encourage and equip undergraduates, graduate students, postdocs, and early career faculty as they navigate each stage of their academic vocation and transition to the next step in or beyond the academy.

Women Scholars and Professionals

Recognizing the unique challenges and layers of complexity facing women who pursue higher education and the careers that follow, we provide resources online, on campus, and on location to encourage women in their professional vocations, in their communities, and throughout the fullness of their lives. We long to see women in all sectors of our society living wholeheartedly into their God-given callings for the sake of his glory, their joy, and the good of the world.
